Upper Canada District School Board (UCDSB)

If you are looking for a school experience filled with adventure, our program in Eastern Ontario is perfect for you. Along with strong English and academic learning, you can join an exciting activities and travel program that takes you across cities, nature parks, and cultural landmarks in Canada. From weekend trips to major cities, to outdoor adventures, festivals, and community events, you will explore new places, make friends from around the world, and create unforgettable memories.

Your school Ambassadors will greet you and help welcome you to the school community. During the year, teachers and school staff will support you, check your progress, and help you succeed in a wide variety of courses. You will also have a homestay coordinator who makes sure your homestay family is safe, caring, and a good match for you. Our dedicated team is available 24/7 to assist students and families.

For students who want extra help with English, we have 8 high schools with enhanced English Language Learner (ELL) support. These schools offer an ESL credit course each semester, and ELL Instructors who work with your teachers to support your learning, help you understand classroom expectations, and assist with socialization and settling into school life.

Study with the Upper Canada District School Board, discover new places, and experience a year full of growth, adventure, and opportunity.
